I cannot understand how family can hear a child – whether in the body of a child or in an adult form tells them they were taken advantage by a family member in a sexual manner and protect the abuser.
Excuses are made to not rock the boat with family.
Excuses are made for being a bad parent and why would you want to hurt the family.
But never consider the hurt person. The trauma. The re-traumatization.
No consideration to stop it from happening in the future.
How do I know my nieces and nephews haven’t been abused?
We’re just going to be ok with this. Right?
We’re ok with a perpetual cyclic mess stew of incest. WOOOOO!
